Who can join ZTV?
Any student enrolled at The University of Akron, regardless of their major, can join ZTV and benefit from our program.
What is the fee for?
The 165$ fee is used for a variety of things: equipment costs, course costs, and helps to maintain our subscriptions to Adobe programs.
Do I need to have any experience creating video content to join ZTV?
No. Most students who join ZTV have little to no experience in using cameras, Adobe programs, etc. ZTV aims to teach all who join various media skills to ensure that they are well-rounded content creators.
Can I join ZTV and WZIP?
Yes! It is encouraged that you join both stations to get the most out of your experience. Many members double dip in both stations and are able to balance their schedules, as well as gain hands-on experience in two prominent media industries.
Can any majors join ZTV?
Yes! Any student, regardless of major, can join ZTV.
